The Fantasy Story was right on par with many other “commercial” fantasy authors I have read over the years. Good detail and foreshadowing as you read the story. But it’s woven into the story so well you don’t even realize it’s a bread crumb that will lead to something else, until you get further into the story. There are a few very sexy and erotic scenes to spice it up. I already can’t wait for #2!

Lost half a star for the amount of times “baby” was used! I appreciate it’s a term of endearment….. but I think it was time to put baby back in the corner!
Storyline is good! Was nice to have a badass MFC that didn’t swoon immediately. And a MMC who was happy to role reverse with the alpha aspect.
🌶️ scenes held more emotion and connection than your average boning! Which again a bit more refreshing. But I’m used to reading dark stuff, maybe this is normal! I liked it anyway! Not fluffy bunny but not chains and leather!
